All the people I know are weirdos

I have long held the belief that all the people I've ever met were complete and total loonies, except one person who I wasn't sure about.  Now, unfortunately, my suspicions are confirmed.  That one person is a weirdo as well.  He has started his own blog all about his attempt to watch read and listen to every Dr. Who show book and audio book ever made that he considers "canonical."  Not only that, he's starting at the oldest ones and working his way forward.  It's sad though.  I thought that I was the weirdo of the family.  Oh well, I'll just have to try harder.  Oh, before I forget, here's the link to his blog Running Through My Own Corridors.  Goodbye for now.  Exterminate

Sunday Snippets!

It's that time of week again!  No, not the time to make fun of the disney channel.  It's Sunday Snippets time!  Unfortunately, I only have two posts this week and one of them is an apology for not having any posts.  The second one was a short story I wrote in my boredom at being shut into my house because of all the snow.  It isn't all that good, but it is somewhat funny (if you have a very broad sense of the word funny)

Snow snow and more snow!

Snow snow and more snow

I'm almost tempted to give up shovelling all the snow that falls.  I work for an hour each day and then the next day it's back to how it was.  I'm starting to believe the old story about how Canada was colonized.  What happened was everyone lived somewhere warm like Texas or Arizona or something.  One day, a man went up North to see what it was like.  He discovered that it was very very very........very cold and very very............very snowy.  He quickly went back down south.  He then waited until the summer.  When the summer came around he told all of his friends - as a practical joke - that they should all go up North because it was very beautiful up there.  They all went to check it out.  When they arrived they discovered the Rocky Mountains and the prairies and agreed that it was beautiful.  Then they discovered Ontario (which is from a word they invented meaning mud) and quickly ran back to British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan. (named after their words for: Just to the left of Alberta, The best place in the world, and Who in the world would want to live there.  Oh well, at least it's better than Ontario.  Respectively)  Then, the winter came and thousands of people died and the rest were nearly frozen.  However, they still didn't think to go back because it was so beautiful.  Meanwhile, the man back in the states laughed himself half to death because his crazy friends still hadn't figured out the joke.  He's laughing still.

My apologies for not posting for a while.  I've just been buzy shoveling snow, shoveling more snow, musical theatre, shoveling snow, music class, shoveling snow, shoveling snow and shoveling snow.  Also, I can't forget shoveling snow.  In, the time since my last post I have come to the conclusion that Alberta gets way too much snow.  I should be a bit regular now.  Until the next snow storm that is.

Tron: Legacy

I just got back from seeing Tron: Legacy in 3D.  It's quite amazing.  Also, everyone's favourite motorcycle is back!  The light cycle

Here's the music video for one of the songs from the movie:

Now go see the movie, you won't regret it (unless you dislike really really really....really cool CGI effects)
