Back Again (even shorter)
Well, we got back yesterday. Now, I’m going to a Catholic homeschooling youth conference called Youth For Truth. I’ll be back on Thursday. Then, I should be back to my regular posts.

I’m Back (Shortly)
Well, I’m back from Arcatheos (for those of you who didn’t know I’d left all I can say is: oops) I was supposed to be gone for twelve days starting on the twenty-eighth of July and ending on the eighth of this month. However, my family sprung a vacation on me. I went to Regina for a couple days and then South into North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Montana. (In that order and with the majority of the time spent in South Dakota.) I’m back just in time to announce my departure for reading camp in a couple days. To make up for my extended absence and my absence that is fast approaching, I offer as a peace gift another poem from the ever-wonderful Anne Therese. Oh one more thing. While I was away, some costume pieces I ordered arrived in the mail. I’ll try to find some time to post pictures.
Finding Joy
By Anne Therese
Where has it gone,
That joy.
It wasn’t always
Gone.
I want it back
I used to be so full of it
I want to go
Back.
I am asking him
Who is the light
Because I trust in
Him.
I am happy
But not like before
I want it normal and
Happy
I want it to be simple
Kindness and love.
I wish it was easy and
Simple.
I have great hope
There is no greater
Because I know he is there, and I
Hope.
I need to pray
Because he is always there
I can get it all back, if I
Pray.

Gospel of the Day 22/7/11
John 20:1-2.11-18.
On the first day of the week, Mary of Magdala came to the tomb early in the morning, while it was still dark, and saw the stone removed from the tomb.
So she ran and went to Simon Peter and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and told them, "They have taken the Lord from the tomb, and we don't know where they put him."
But Mary stayed outside the tomb weeping. And as she wept, she bent over into the tomb
and saw two angels in white sitting there, one at the head and one at the feet where the body of Jesus had been.
And they said to her, "Woman, why are you weeping?" She said to them, "They have taken my Lord, and I don't know where they laid him."
When she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus there, but did not know it was Jesus.
Jesus said to her, "Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you looking for?" She thought it was the gardener and said to him, "Sir, if you carried him away, tell me where you laid him, and I will take him."
Jesus said to her, "Mary!" She turned and said to him in Hebrew, "Rabbouni," which means Teacher.
Jesus said to her, "Stop holding on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and tell them, 'I am going to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'"
Mary of Magdala went and announced to the disciples, "I have seen the Lord," and what he told her.

My bad!
Alright, it is now twelve days since my last post. All I can say is: oops. (Well, actually, I can say more, but I just choose not to.) Well, I’m going to scrap that Friday writing idea and replace it with a simple request. Send me all your poems, short stories, slightly longish stories, really longish stories, cool pictures, and anything that you thing I might enjoy to stuffforCairParavel@gmail.com (not my real email) (for those of you who know my real one, just send it to that.)

Gospel of the Day 10/7/11
Matthew 10:34-42.11:1.
Do not think that I have come to bring peace upon the earth. I have come to bring not peace but the sword.
For I have come to set a man 'against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law;
and one's enemies will be those of his household.'
Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me;
and whoever does not take up his cross and follow after me is not worthy of me.
Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.
Whoever receives you receives me, and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me.
Whoever receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet's reward, and whoever receives a righteous man because he is righteous will receive a righteous man's reward.
And whoever gives only a cup of cold water to one of these little ones to drink because he is a disciple--amen, I say to you, he will surely not lose his reward."
When Jesus finished giving these commands to his twelve disciples, he went away from that place to teach and to preach in their towns.

I’m Back V3
There, now I’m back. I should be back for a while as well. It was quite an enjoyable Baseball Camp. On the first day, we practiced, and learnt, and practiced some more. On the second day we practiced and played a baseball game and...Wait a minute! Actually, on the second day we were rained out so we had to stay at the Living Waters College of the Arts and play cards. We ended up playing three games of Mao, followed by a game of Mafia. It was quite a fun time.

To all those in the States.
Well, this is to everyone from the U.S who views my blog. Happy (belated) Independence Day. *Sigh* I still remember the last Independence Day celebration I attended. It was in South Dakota. We had tons and tons and tons and...tons of fireworks. All sorts of different types. We even managed to have extras to take back up here to the cold north. They then saw use next year on Canada Day. Anyway, back to the party. It was a blast...and so were the fireworks. (Ba-dum ching.) You know, there was something ellse I wanted to mention...I can’t think of it now.... Oh well, it will come to me....................... Maybe not... Well I guess... That’s all for now!
