Twenties Street Productions

Well, I have two anouncments to make.

The first: Fort Edmonton Park (A historical park with interpeters in costumes and historical buildings and such things) has a group of actors called Twenties Street Productions. Well, they originally were based out of the hotel in the park, but now, they are going to be based out of a recreation of the old theatre on Jasper Ave. (more information here: Capitol Theatre Project) It is their first official season this year, and they are currently having auditions until Friday. I will be auditioning on Thursday, at 5:45. The plays will be..Well here's the list from FEP's website:

The Importance of Being Earnest - by OscarWilde
Sept. 17, 18, 23, 24, 25

This fun and familiar classic show is suitable for all audiences, and will premiere the Theatre opening on September 17. A fast paces and hilarious comedy of manners, manipulations and mistaken identity, this comedy is sure to entertain everyone from theatre lovers to families.

The Curse of PigeonLake- by NickGreen
Oct. 15, 16, 21, 22, 23

The second play of the Series is a haunted and funny musical by Award winning writer NickGreen. Join four friends as they sit by the fire trying to out-spook the rest of the group. This is a timely piece of work leading up to Halloween.

The Velveteen Rabbit

Another popular classic, this one adapted for the stage by Award winning playwright ChrisCraddock, presents a story of love, hope and belief in transformation around a velveteen rabbit. This third play of the Series also features matinees for the younger theatre fans.

The second anouncment, is rather sad. I will be going on a brief hiatus - proably only a week or two. While I try to get back on top of everything in my life. So then, I guess I'll hopefully see you soon.

That's all for now!
